2010 adventures

Dane and I have some really big plans for 2010. The biggest being the move to Australia, and while that is getting closer and closer, there are still some pretty big adventures coming up before then.

I am in the process of getting my visa for Australia, so hopefully that should come through in the next month or two (here's holding thumbs it doesn't take longer), and then Dane and I plan on leaving London in July for 2 months of travelling around Europe.

Last year we bought a Ford Transit van, converted into a campervan, and we have been slowly doing her up a little and making her comfortable as our home away from home. We will be travelling in 'Martha' for about 2 months, and free camping around Europe as much as we can. We have a rough route in place - starting in France, making our way to Spain for an awesome festival in Bilbao, then on to Portugal, back into Spain, back into France, then onto Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, Holland and then back to London. After our epic trip we plan to be in London for another month or so, to sell the van, close bank accounts etc and generally just say goodbye to our London life. Then its homeward bound - as by this time it will have been 2 and a half years since I have been home, and its a long overdue trip. So, South Africa for the month of October, and then it's off to Australia in November and starting a life on the Gold Coast.

So, all around big plans and big adventures in the coming months, and I will be doing my best to have it all written down here...
